Can you tell I’ve been procrastinating? I knew exactly which photo I wanted to post on Nov. 6, but I was worried I would upset people. With my opinion. On my own blog.
I know, crazy. Luckily, I came to my senses. I think you all know me well enough to know that I am not posting these photos for you. This is my personal journal…it just happens to be online and people just happen to read it. So here you go: the last six days of thankful.
Thankful for the right to vote. And thankful for equality and freedom of choice.
So, I know I say this a lot, but I am eternally grateful for this awesome career I have where I get to work with such amazing clients AND be home when my kids are home. And now that it’s not so “not-for-profit” (as we used to joke), there is even more to be thankful for. (And yes, that is Katniss as my screensaver. If she can survive the Hunger Games, then I can knock out a page of content. Inspiration)
Thankful for my fabulous sister, pictured here with me outside Dylan’s Candy Store in NYC. She is honest, hilarious, sweet and so thoughtful. I simply can’t imagine life without her.
Thankful for an entire 24 hours to spend with the love of my life. Here’s a nice photo from our walk on Friday morning. We also did some kid-free shopping, hit up an estate sale and met our good friends for dinner. Awesome.
Thankful (again) for a career that takes me to unexpected places where I continue to learn and experience things I would never think of myself. Saturday we toured Old Friends thoroughbred rescue farm where we met some racing legends and made some new friends, both equine and otherwise.
worst photography ever. But anyway. This was John’s birthday cake, and some leftover Toy Story napkins from Henry’s 3rd birthday. As you all know, I am eternally thankful to have my best friend by my side. I love him, I love him, I love him. Plus, he’s extremely hot.
