December 11 – What are 11 things your life doesn’t need in 2011? How will you go about eliminating them? How will getting rid of these 11 things change your life?
December 13 – Action When it comes to aspirations, it’s not about ideas. It’s about making ideas happen. What’s your next step?
I’m skipping the post for Dec.12 because I didn’t like it. So there. If you must know, it was about Body Integration and I was too tired to think about what that even means, so I’m skipping it.
Anyway…I swear I didn’t read the prompts until just now, but I must be intuitive because this morning I “hid” several people from my Facebook feed, so I’m well on my way to eliminating 11 things from life in 2011. It’s not that I don’t want to be friends with these people, I just can’t have their Facebook status’ in my life anymore. But don’t worry, it wasn’t you.
Also on the list to eliminate is practically every item currently taking up space in my bedroom (except John; he can stay, of course). The mess in my room is mostly books, papers and clutter and it just has to go!
Last thing (because I don’t feel like counting to 11 today, so I am only doing 3 things) is my cholesterol. Last week my doctor told me that I have the equivalent of sludge running through my veins and I may as well be a 600 pound man, eating greasy cheeseburgers at every meal (oooh, but doesn’t that sound so good? The cheeseburgers, not the 600 pound man). So in 2011 I will be eating a bunch of Cheerios and hopefully turning my blood back into a liquid form.
Now, in terms of Action (for the Dec. 13th post): I have to talk this over with John first, but I’m thinking that instead of writing yet another blog post about how much I want to move downtown and live my authentic life in a place that is more “me”, I may just stick a “For Sale by Owner” sign in my front yard on Jan. 1st. How’s that for action?
Now I’m going to go think of 8 more things I can eliminate from my life. Suggestions are welcome.
